Technology
When White Label was founded in 2010, we stood at a crossroads, faced with a pivotal decision that would shape the future of our company and the services we provide to you, our customers. Do we build, or do we buy? The choice was clear-cut: opt for the readily available commercial technologies or forge our own path with open-source platforms that promise a unique and customizable user experience.
This decision also extended not only across the switching fabric but to every aspect of our platform. By developing all functionality in-house rather than integrating disjointed third-party applications, we provide a unified, cost-effective suite of tools built on a common codebase and data core to maximize developmental and operational efficiencies.
Our platform and infrastructure operates at 99.999% uptime.
How Our Tech Stacks Up
From 99.999% SLAs to 24x7 US Based Phone Support, the Technology behind White Label Communications is out of this world.
FreeSWITCH
Our decision to build upon FreeSWITCH was not just a choice—it was a commitment to innovation. We put together a stellar team of software engineers and support staff dedicated to designing a technology that wasn't just different but superior.
FreeSWITCH is a powerhouse driving some of the largest telephony systems in the world. Every day, over 300+ million users globally experience the high performance and unwavering reliability that FreeSWITCH provides. In the realm of VoIP, there is no room for compromise on quality and reliability—and FreeSWITCH delivers on both counts.
With the uncertainty created by the constant merger and acquisition activity in this industry, we decided to embrace open-source, ensuring that our destiny remains in our hands and our services remain tailored to the needs of our customers.Geo Redundancy
With duplicate or mirrored data centers and infrastructure in geographically separate locations, you can be assured that even if one site or region experiences an outage due to natural disasters, power failures, or other unforeseen circumstances, the network can seamlessly switch to the alternate location, maintaining uninterrupted service. This redundancy enhances fault tolerance, minimizes downtime, and safeguards against data loss, providing users with consistent access to applications and resources regardless of localized disruptions, thereby bolstering overall system reliability and business continuity.
Our network currently operates three strategically located georedundant physical data centers in the East, Central, and West. We are peered in these data centers with dozens of premier Tier 1 network service providers. Carrier Services are available through multiple peering and direct connection arrangements with Tier 1 Carriers, so partners are protected from single vendor outages. All real-time media operations, including VoIP calling, are processed on our state-of-the-art data centers on bare metal servers, ensuring optimal quality of service for our partners.
Network Elasticity
White Label Communications utilizes a sophisticated hybrid infrastructure, seamlessly integrating our private data centers with the robust capabilities of Amazon Web Services (AWS). Leveraging AWS’s extensive infrastructure, White Label is equipped to adeptly navigate growth by harnessing features such as auto-scaling and on-demand load balancing. These features, along with AWS’s renowned cloud elasticity, characterized by its dynamic scalability, enable White Label to manage not only our steady growth but also sudden surges in demand.
Encryption/Security/Performace
White Label has partnered with Cloudflare Magic Transit to protect our IP subnets from DDoS attacks while also accelerating network traffic. White Label uses Cloudflare’s global network to mitigate attacks, employing standards-based networking protocols, like BGP, GRE, and IPsec, for routing and encapsulation. Cloudflare delivers DDoS mitigation using its entire network, which has a capacity of over 200 Tbps and spans more than 300 cities in 100 countries. White Label’s network sits approximately 50 ms from about 95% of the Internet-connected population globally. This is especially important for latency-sensitive applications such as Voice over IP (VoIP). With a heritage in DDoS mitigation and a vast library of known attacks, malicious traffic is identified at a Cloudflare data center closest to the source within seconds. Automatic mitigation techniques are applied immediately, and most malicious traffic is blocked in less than 3 seconds.
In-House Development
In today’s tech-savvy, fast-moving world, choosing between in-house software development and commercial products is a strategic decision. Our goal is always to deliver SaaS solutions meticulously tailored to meet the immediate and evolving needs of our customers. Our in-depth approach is not just about ensuring the high availability of UCaaS/CPaaS services; it’s about creating a comprehensive ecosystem where quoting, invoicing, and taxation processes seamlessly converge. We refer to our offering as a business in a box tailor-made for our reseller community.
Where off-the-shelf solutions impose the burden of disjointed third-party applications, escalating costs, and inefficiencies, we deliver a unified, cost-effective suite of applications. We eliminate complexity and hidden expenses by integrating all necessary services into one cohesive platform designed with your growth and profitability in mind.
